wow!!!!
my first ever solo trip and it was to the bay area!! i had so much fun. majority of my mom's side of the family live in the bay area so i had a lot of options were to stay, but ultimately i ended up staying with my grandma and my uncle--mom's oldest brother. and i love hanging out with my mom's family because i find everyone's dynamics so interesting. everyone's such a character and my mom talks about them like she's the only normal one LMAO.
anyway, here are some photos of my trip.

I’ve been getting asked about moving on and out for university. Asking about how I feel on moving so far or if I feel set on what I’m studying and all I just tell them I'm nervous or excited because it’s better than saying I feel indifferent. I guess it just hasn’t hit me yet. Or maybe I pre-grieved (succ reference (tomato is thrown at me)) leaving home. I made a list of everything I need to pack and what I need to buy. I think I’m going to buy a revlon hair dryer brush once I get there. I already know who and what I’m going to miss, so I suppose it wouldn’t hurt as much.
I want to see my uncle before I leave. He has cameras and a canon photo printer he said would be a graduation present.
I don’t know what to do for my birthday.

My mom remembers the time my aunt trapped her in the bathroom of their Las Vegas hotel suite to pressure her to go see Circus Circus. She says it reminds her of the time when her aunt did the same to her except she gave her jewelry in exchange to follow her to gamble at the casino.
I think of the time time my cousin followed me to the bathroom to ask if I wanted to leave his dad’s viewing to check out a small cafe he spotted a few blocks away on the way to the cemetery. At my uncle’s wedding, my cousins and I locked ourselves in the venue’s bathroom to plot how to get to the nearest In-n-Out. I don't plan to tell her those parts.
